Carefully lift the door up until it s free from the tracks and then have your partner help you tilt it slightly to remove the door from the upper track.

To remove a sliding screen door find the screws at the bottom corners and unscrew them with a screwdriver. Lift up on the door until the rollers clear the bottom rail and pull inward. When the door has cleared the rail lift up and pull out the top of the door will come off of the top rail.
Remove the sliding glass door. Your sliding glass door may have a doorstop that covers the inside edge of the door frame. Remove the sliding screen door by tilting the top toward you then lifting it up out of the bottom track. Pull the door up until you can see the bottom wheels on either side.
To remove the screen door use a flathead screwdriver. Lay the stationary door down gently on a foam sheet. If your sliding glass doors don t have the screen door then you may move on to the next step. Sliding glass shower or tub doors overlap each other as they slide and one will be closer to the inside.
Open the door and ask your helper to slightly lift the screen door. Use a flat head screwdriver to remove the threshold and unscrew the top middle and bottom brackets. Once you remove it be careful not to let the door fall over. Then use your screwdriver to unscrew the head stop located at the top of the door frame.
If yours does you will need to use your screwdriver to remove this head stop. Remove the screws that hold the fixed door in place in the sliding door tracks.
