Gmc Sierra Rear Door Lock Problems

My 14 has the same issue on the rear drivers side door.

Gmc sierra rear door lock problems. Cable for connection to interior door handle was much shorter than stock. Purchase a replacement at autozone to restore convenience. The vehicle was taken to a dealer where it was diagnosed that the actuator needed. Sent from my sm g965u using tapatalk.

The problem is intermittent and tempersture related. The contact owns a 2008 gmc sierra 1500. Most likely an actuator issue. Sometimes that rod gets to where it won t move.

Gmc sierra 2500 hd crew cab rear driver side door lock actuator integrated latch. It often does not work on cold mornings but will work fine in the warmer afternoons. The rear locks won t budge have to unlock manually. Still need to get mine fixed one of these days.

A lot of times on these trucks the locks just aren t gettin pushed all the way open shut. 2005 ccsb lt 4x4 thumb. My rear door locks will not unlock front ones work fine with remote and inside control panel. 09 gmc slt dually.

The problem switched from the back door locks not working to the front not working. Juggling keys instead of clicking a button is frustrating and in inclement weather it becomes even more of a problem. There were a few small problems. I think that the relay was 12 through my local chevy dealer.

The contact stated that all the automatic door locks failed to operate. That door lock piece in the door is just a plastic piece that pops in the door panel and there s a rod that goes back and forth attached to that piece to lock unlock. If your gmc sierra 1500 door lock actuator sticks or stops working leaning across the seat to let someone else in is a pain.
